ZMINA. KYIV INTERNATIONAL LIBERTY FILM FESTIVAL

Everything began in 2023, when we created the Ukrainian Libertarian Film Festival. it held more than 70 guests per day, 16 short films from some student works to festival hits.

In 2024, we decided to make step forward and rebranded to ZMINA. That is Ukrainian word, that means “change” and “shooting day” at the same time. We showed more than 20 short films all over the world, gathered more than a 100 visitors and made a bunch of lectures and discussions about private cinema and relationship between Ukrainian cinema society and state.

In our future editions, we will be much more devoted to the topics, that mean a lot for our team and society at all.

Cause, after the beginning of russian full-scale invasion, the whole world realized the most important value for all ukrainians:
